Flowers (Volkner x Reader)

Volkner had recently rebuilt his gym after his run in with Team Rocket.
He smiled brightly at the amazing work.
He couldn’t wait until someone would challenge him.
Volkner felt he built this gym even better then before.
Somewhere over near Floaroma town.
"_______ come here." Your mother called.
‘Yes mom?" You asked asked.
"I need you to deliver these flowers to Sunyshore city." Your mother said handing you a large bouquet of flowers.
"Oh these are lovely mother who are they for?" You asked.
"An old couple. The man wanted something special for their anniversary." Your mother said.
"Alright I will go." You said grabbing your flowers.
"Are you ready ________?" You asked your Skorupi.
Skorupi nodded.
"I can’t carry you there though." You said.
The bouquet was so large it required to be held in both arms.
Skorupi nodded and with that the two of you headed out.
You mad your way there on the quickest routes.
"I wonder how the gym leader is doing." You mumbled to yourself blushing.
You had met the current gym leader a long time ago before he had even become a gym leader.
He certainly captured your interest back then.
Maybe you stop by his gym for a moment.
Within a few hours you had arrived in Sunyshore city.
"While he certainly built this city up nice." You mumbled to yourself.
"Hey _______!" You hear someone yell.
You turned around to see Volkner.
He had certainly gotten much cuter.
"Congratz." Volkner said loosing swinging an arm around you.
"Congratulations on what?" You asked smiling at him.
"While aren’t those for your boyfriend?" Volkner asked.
"No, I don’t even have a boyfriend." You said smiling at him.
"I see while stop my gym later." Volkner said.
"I will." You said walking off.
Volkner walked away as well. He didn’t know why but he was quite thankful you were still single.
He entered his gym walking to his place.
You delivered the flowers to the elderly couple.
"That was nice of him." You said looking at Skittle picking it up.
You entered the gym.
"You’ll have to battle me before you can fight Volkner!" One of the understudies.
"Stand down she’s not here for a battle." Volkner said walking to the front.
He escorted you to the back.
"Even if you didn’t face the other I would love if you could give me a battle for old times sake." Volkner said.
"I’d love to." You said as you Skorupi hopped down protectively from your arms.
"I’m ready." You say.
"Alright one on one." Volkner said throwing out Luxray.
Most Luxray’s attacks had been ineffective giving you an easy win.
"That was a pretty great battle. You’ve really matured." Volkner said.
"You as well." You said causing the two of you to burst out into laughter.
"While I better get going now. My mom will worry if I don’t return to the flower shop soon." You say.
"Wait!" Volkner said grabbing your arm.
"Ye…" You were cut off by his lips clashing into yours.
You blushed when he pulled away.
"Be sure to come back and battle me again. You sure gave me a lot of inspiration." Volkner said.
"Alright I will be sure to come back." You said running off waving bye.
Over the next few weeks you made frequent trips to Sunyshore city.
Each one ending with a good bye kiss.
One day you were working on putting flowers into bouquets when you see Volkner come in.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at you gym?" You asked.
"I felt I should come here to ask you to be mine?" Volkner said.
You blush bright red.
"I’d love to." You said running up to him throwing your arms around him.
He leaned down and kissed you.
