Snuggle Bug Homestuck (Eridan x Reader)

You had come to the this damn party because the strider brothers decided to throw it. You rolled your eyes, Dave has told everyone that he had a totally ironic idea and wanted to play a game of snuggle bug . The party had an even number of participants so every one was given a piece of paper with a Song on it, two songs were always the same, though on one was written snuggle bug and the other not Snuggle bug. The objective of the game was to find your Snuggle bug partner and snuggle them. Most people despised the idea so that's probably why Dave called it Ironic. The winner would be the last person to be found. The worst part was it was in the dark, and you heard most trolls had night vision.

Once everyone had gathered Dave pulled out a beanie with papers in it, He held it out reluctantly you reached in grabbing a paper only to pull out...

You pulled out a being of paper with the song “Mr. Brightside, Follow by Not Snuggle bug.” Great so you were going to have to find someone, you really didn't want to do that. The only person you had feeling's for was already dating someone else, and he was the only person you wanted to snuggle not to mention he was the only person who wasn't there.

After Dave had told all the bugs to hide while the snugglers counted. You walked into a empty living room.  You gave a small sigh rubbing your temples. You walked around for a good two hours, you found plenty of people but none where your snuggle bug so here you were outside when you spotted a tree where you heard some sniffling. Rolling your eyes you climbed up only to spot Eridan.

“Hey bud, why are you crying up here.” You asked. “G-go awway you filthy land dwweller.” Eridan told her. “Hey fuck you, I am trying to help.” You growled you raised an arm to punch him before dropping it. “Ugh well then just fuck it.” You said about ready to climb down the tree. “Wwait!” He said grabbing your arm. “What?” You growled before being pulling into a hug as he cried into your shoulder.

You rubbed his back comforting him as he explained the situation with Feferi.

“Boy do I know those feeling, I am going through the same thing with the boy I love as well.” You told him. “Y-you do? Wwhat do you do about it?” He asked. “Try and move on.” You told him. “Wwell then movve on wwith me.” Eridan told you.

You blushed. “W-what?” You stuttered. “Like I said, Movve on wwith me, Wwe'll showw them wwhat true happiness.” Eridan told you.

“I, er, Okay.” You agreed. He looked down at his hands he took off a ring putting it on your finger. “You're my Human Wwife now.” Eridan told her. “I er... that's not how it works.” You told him. “Wwell take it as a sign of being my Matesprit.” He told you. “Okay.” You told him.

You looked down to see Dave looking at you two. “God damnit, It took me forever to find you, the games been over for like and hour.” Dave told them.

“Ironic huh?” You joked. Dave rolled his eyes.

“Oh that reminds me, I never knew your song.” You told him. “It's Mr. Brightside, wwhat about your's?” Eridan asked. “Same, Guess it was just meant to be.” You told him leaning in planting a firm kiss on his lips as he melted into the kiss and his fins wiggled with joy.
