The Magic of Shooting Stars (N x Reader)

As a kid she used to always believe in the magic of shooting stars, birthday candles, and wishes.
She also believed in prince charming.
Though she had never found him, and the magic of her beliefs had since disappeared.
She lay on the ground staring at the stars in the sky.
As she was staring at the sky a shooting star passed her by.
Giggling to herself she made a wish.
“I wish I could find my prince charming.” She said as the star passed.
Even though she didn’t believe in it, it was just for fun anyways.
After a bit more star gazing she found herself falling back to sleep.

The next morning she awoke to find someone staring at her.
“Ah!” She said sitting up real fast.
The man seemed a bit startled as well.
“I’m sorry miss, but you’re pokemon seemed so happy sleeping with you, and so content I couldn’t help but stare.” N told her.
“Um okay then.” She said getting out of her sleeping bag.
“I should introduce myself I’m N.” N said extending an arm.
“Nice to meet you N, My name is ____.” She said reaching out and shaking her hand.
“If I may ask why are you out in this area?” N asked.
“Well actually, Cilan had told me Ash was coming back to town and I wanted to say hi.” She said.
“I know him, mind if I come with you?” N told her.
“Sure, but if you don’t mind can I ask for the reason you’re here?” She asked.
“I was searching for someone, or I mean Hilbert.” N said.
“I’ve never met him but I’d be happy to help you look.” She offered.
N looked a bit confused but nodded accepting the help even though he was a bit reluctant after all it had been 2 years since he had seen Hilbert.

After a few exchanges they had decided to search for Hilbert instead of meeting with Ash.
They started out where the journey had began.
“Hilbert, I haven’t seen him in two years, back when we were a gym.” Cress stated when they asked the Striaton water master the question.
“I see.” N said disappointed.
“I suggest trying the Narcene city.” Cilan said. “He did enjoy the museum.” Chili added on.
“Thank you.” She said to the Trio.
N bowed in thanks.

After that they headed to the Museum.
“I haven’t seen him in forever.” _____ told them.

They tried gym after gym, they even asked Cheren and Bianca.
“Last time I saw him, he said he was looking for a person named N.” Cheren said.
N’s face brightened.
“But I haven’t seen him since.” Cheren explain causing N’s face to fall.

N walked off.
“I don’t think he’s in Unova any longer.” N said.
“Hey we won’t give up, we can explore other regions.” She told him.
“No, that’s alright.” N told her.
“I don’t understand.” She told him.
“Maybe it’s fate, if our paths cross again then so be it. Though maybe my fate was meeting you in the process of finding him.” N told her.
A blush spread across her face.
“Fate of the stars.” She told him smiling.
N looked at her a bit confused.
“Please Explain.” N said.
“I had wished on a falling star that I would meet my prince charming.” She explained.
Now it was N’s turn to blush.
“I don’t think I’m anyone’s prince charming, though I’m thankful to have meet you.” N said. “And if you don’t mind I’d like to take you somewhere that means the world to me.” N asked her.
“I’d like that.” She told him.

He brought her to Nimbasa city going to the Farris Wheel.
The two boarded the ride.

She starred at the scenery from the window, she had seen it before but it had never gotten any less beautiful.
“____, I can’t say if I’m capable of loving another human being or trusting one, but I do know I really like you. and I have never meet anyone other then my sisters and Hilbert who I cared so much for… and I-I…” He didn’t know how to continue he had never made a confession to anyone before.
“I understand N.” She told him wrapping her arms around his neck.
N turned bright red.
They say the first kiss tell everything.
N leaned in capturing her lips, he had never done something like this before. Though it felt so natural as if it was meant to be.
N pulled away.
“I would like for us to continue to travel together.” N said.
“As long as you would like me to be with you I will follow you to the ends of the earth.”
N nodded wrapping his arms around her.

She pressed her forehead to his. “To Us.” She stated.
“For us.” N added.
